Default Porsche 2litre alloys

Hi, has anyone painted the 4 stud 2ltr alloys with all black centres, a bit like later Fuchs, rather than the usual 4 polished spokes with black between them. For example like this porsche 911rs

Think it would look better. Always felt the slot/hole in the spoke spoilt the look compared to the original fuch. Even on a 914
