Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

It was a decent game - and Liverpool won.

In other (good) news - the red Mancs lost at home to Crystal Palace.

Now, if Bournemouth could win or draw today, that would make a great weekend's footie.

I don't see anyone getting close to the top 2 this season, in fact I can see them edging further away. I'm sure 4th spot will be open to someone like Leicester and it won't take an amazing season for them to get there either. United seem worse than they were, Chelsea are a bag full of issues and Arsenal, well they don't seem to want to step up either!

I'll go along with that.

I think United need to sell Pogba as talented as he is his recent form has been way below average and lazy, some of his passing has been awful
Plus I think he is too much of a bad influence on the rest of the team.

I hope I'm proved wrong and Ole gives him a kick up the backside or leaves him on the bench for a couple of games.

I saw a stat about Pogba the other day, so far this season he has made more interceptions and created more chances than any other player in the league.

Last season he had the fifth highest shots tally, the highest of any non-forward player

He averages either a goal or an assist every other Premier League game

Yet still everyone thinks he needs to go. It's a strange one for sure

It certainly is a strange one and I can't make my mind up about him
I'd like to see him on the bench for a couple of games just to see what effect it has, we can't do much worse

I'd like to see* Maguire grab him by the neck, bang his head against a goalpost a few times and tell him to shut his (and his agent's) gob and let his feet do the talking.

*I'm not too bothered about seeing it. Hearing it happened in training will suffice.

..maybe it'll be enough to keep us out of a relegation dogfight.
