If you are prepared to work in the hospitality industry for minimum wage then you will find jobs coming out of your arse for the next few months. Other than that, there is not much doing I'm afraid.

Moving down myself in 2 wks, Job sorted and rental house. Once we have sold up here will buy somwhere by Lelant , all a bit scary at the moment last week at work then have 2 weeks to move the fleet down, start my new job on the 12th july which I will be on my jack jones for 2 weeks untill the schools break up for summer then will move the rest of the family down.

How do the locals react to folk from up country moving in? a question for the locals.

Just moved down to Saltash, Cornwall 3 weeks ago and loving it. For the moment I have to go back to London (work) for the week. But it's like being on holiday every weekend, I have never been this chilled.
I can't say anything bad about Saltash, beaches 15 minutes away, Speedway 10 minutes away. Close to Plymouth where there is a better chance of getting work.
