Default Electrician needed near Wigan for garage wiring?

Hi, i need to get power into my garage for winter, so i need some SWA cable, garage consumer unit etc, and would like some advice with what i need to buy, as well as someone to do the final connections, or even the whole job if cheap enough?

Ill dig the cable down the length of the garden, as i know how much electricians love digging....

Ive been quoted 200 all in but would prefer a fellow veedubber to help/advise/quote me for it!

Pm if you can help, ta!!

Ive been given a load of 6ft double strip lights, i need to know what kinda swa cable (2.5mm? 4mm? 6mm?) i need to run a hobby welder in there, and what kinda consumer unit i need etc.... its not gonna be a big workshop environment, just a double garage thats gonna have a few power tools used in there from time to time.

Run a 6 mm2 - that would handle several KW should it ever come to it...

believe it or not, B&Q are far cheaper for cable/consumer units etc than CEF. They often have bundles with a consumer unit, rcd's etc, and ten double sockets for under a ton.
