Default Quote to narrow and weld in adjusters - King/link pin - Herts area.

As title really. Would like a quote to narrow, weld in adjusters, shorten steering arms and leafs.

I will clean it, paint it and remove and fit it.

Just trying to work out whether its more cost effective to buy a slam works one?

Im in the hertordshire area.

Pete

That price is for me to cut your beam up and weld in your adjusters, and them shorten your arms and leaves etc, could look at couriering it to me. or come over to lincoln for a day shopping and ill get it done as a drive in drive out job.

Dubbave have you ever done one before.? very much doubt it. if you did you would know how much work is involved prob best part of a day. tell you what why dont you save baystihl some grief after his kind offer and you bring it to me for 10 quid then while your here why dont you do the work for 20 to 30 quid Good idea ? No didnt think so. ! Tell you what here's a better idea "Shut the FXXk up" and let people who run small vdub resto garages try and earn a honest living without bein called robing gitts

If you feel confident enough to cut the desired amount out of each tube and the section for the adjusters, you could ask a local welder to put it back together for you. Very affordable.

But at the end of the day, you did ask for a quote for the full job, in which case I would recommend you get your current beam narrowed over a 'from scratch" beam. Unless you want more than 3inch narrowed. Then a beam with laser cut endplates would be required for easy fitting.

100 is a decent quote in my opinion
