is that a late model car with early front end and early rear wings?

Proper job! I was thinking flat 2 axis laser cutting, makes much more sense now I see itís box section. Seen videos of stuff like that laser cut and thought you could make some cool stuff with it. Didnít think as big as a chassis though.

car is a 72 with a 67 front end.
no the build wont be on facebook , the full build will be on here.

tube cutting lasor machines are mad, they can do all sort,s of stuff, they had one at last place i worked and thats where i got the idea to lasor cut the chassis for the cortina.

needed a new jig to build the fassty on, box section came this week so got it all cut up ready for welding next week.

got a bit done today.
got the body off the chassis.

with the body off the chassis i could set the shell at ride height to get an idea of what it will look like with the wheels on.

once that was sorted it was time to brace the shell inside before cutting the bulkhead and inner wings out along with all the rear inner structure.
time to start cutting.
