'It's all about the print!'

So then... what printer and paper do you use... I'm slight confused about it all.

I was in a shop the other day, and saw a few postcards. The pictures wern't great, but they did look quite clear. I thought to myself 'I could take better photos then that' but then I realised that the pictures only looked good because of the print. It was clear and clean and wondered if I could print like that.

I'm currently not using a great printer so, what do you use? :)

I do canvas printing and large photo printing (i have a 44" HP printer) It depends on the finish that you want, i have some nice 220gsm matte photo paper that prints really nicely but the only think is that it marks easily.

It depends how you intend to display it, i find glossy papers can be a bit annoying as they reflect light so although from some angles a photo will look really vibrant and clear from others they don't look so good.
