Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

indeed!

Front NS drive shaft gaiters replaced, gearbox and front diff oil replaced this week and full check over on the 4 post - all seems as good as I thought it was except missing coil pack heat shields (should arrive today), rear bumper heat shield has slight rattle (will do when I upgrade the exhaust) and passenger door courtesy light not working - not too bad !

Neat little phone holder and hands free Bluetooth speaker/mic to go in tomorrow - should allow me to maintain my new addiction to Waze when out and about

Goes in to Nine Excellence for major service, plugs and geometry on Monday then that's it for a while (he says, knowing full well I have a few ideas for improvements!!).

Then just drive it whilst I prep the Beetle for Ninove....

Happy Friday all

Thoughts on this one?
996 C2, Manual, aero kit, service history, potential bargain?

Busy car!

It's probably 11k or so with those miles, I think I'd want to see it in person and drive it to see if the suspension needs refresh and what it feels like on the road.
