Always used Atlass Portas on my bug - they do wear the tyre wall behind, so i wouldn't recommend them for daily use - my car rarely does 50 miles a year so perfect

I wanted them but my tire man said they were a mega ball ache to fit.

I thought they were easy to fit, but you will need to break the bead on the tyre to slot them in.

I have just taken mine off, they don't half scrub your tyre wall, which didn't sit too well with me from a safety point of view.
