Guidlines/rules for the Jobs Forum
Some guidelines to consider when posting in this forum…
1. If you’re seeking work or apprenticeship, include your experience, location, compatible outside interests, yadda yadda, and finish off by saying 'PM for personal details’ like telephone number, address etc
Nobody likes a bullshitter, and they soon get caught out, so be realistic, be honest, and be positive. This forum is a chance to sell yourself, so before you hit ‘enter’, read over what you’ve typed, and maybe ask a friend to give it the once over…
2. When advertising jobs, please include the qualifications needed for the position, experience required, any training involved, and how accessible the location is. Then include duties required (just a brief outline), and how people can apply; via pm, download application form from a company site, or if people need to submit a CV via email, post or PM...
3. Adverts that display discrimination will either be modified, or removed from the boards.
4. If anyone believes an advert shows discrimination, please click on report post, and state your query.
5. NO TOUTING, USE YELLOW PAGES
6. Bumping threads every day or every other day could see your posts edited, or the whole thread locked - this is to keep things fair for everyone
7. We will update guidelines as the forum matures
