Default BT Apprenticeships

Just thought I'd stick a quick message on here to let you guys and girls know BT's apprenticeship scheme is open for applications.

It's closing on the 19th so anyone interested needs to get their applications in soon.

I can personally throughly recommend the apprenticeship as I am just coming to the end of my one with Openreach. Plenty of great opportunities.

Feel free to PM me with any questions and I'll try my best to help.

Yeah I was wondering that as well, I am almost 25 could I apply.
I can't see any mention of an age limit.

Unsure of the pay, so had better not quote anything, but it is better than most employers.
I know of one lad who finished his apprenticeship early in around 2 1/2 years (depends on completion of NVQ's), and went on to an accelerated promotion scheme - doing very well for himself.
There are many great opportunities to be had.

the starting pay for 'regular' BT engineers was 18600 a couple of years ago when i was offered a job, this was enhanced after training with bonuses related to amount of work done/repeat visits etc, i have a few mates on BT who take home about 2k a month and arent particularly busy, i wish i had taken it now as although i earn more than that i put in about 3 times the hours
