My Missus was recently diagnosed with Cancer.

She was asked, and has agreed to trial a new drug that is unlicenced. I was reluctant for her to go that route, but she thinks it may be the only good thing to come from her illness.

There is no money involved - some folk are just made that way.

My Mother did something similar when she had cancer, she trailed a treatment to make it easier to see if it spreads to the lymph nodes.

A down side to trials . . .

i just called up...

but cos im chunky (bmi outside their range)

and cos i have been on meds for depression....its a no go for me

bugger...that was a new project lol

Bugger I get hay fever, I was asked to take part in another trial ages ago and I couldn't do that because of it

I missed out on a pain killer trial as I was too late, that would be dead handy if it works on me it would work on anyone

I'll be calling this number up tomorrow I think. I have commitments but there's ways of working around the 14 days thing. 3k would be nice in my mortgage pot.
