Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

I used to make massive car parks under the dining table. More Sainsburys than Silverstone.

I promised myself I wouldn't get obsessive about these things, but today I feel I have crossed a line. A few weeks ago I bought the VW 5 pack I had been looking for, for weeks. And I was content.

I found another today, and nearly walked away, except I noticed something different.

Did you spot it?

The volks rod, my favourite casting, has a filled roof and a roof rack! It also has twin cannon exhausts instead of the single zoomie. I have not seen this casting anywhere so had to buy it. I basically just spent 7 quid on a single car😂

Ok, I might have to have a lie down now. I just noticed the packaging on the non roof rack volks rod has space for one. Does this mean this is the unusual one!! 😃

One was toymaster (expensive), the other was Sainsbury's. Wilkinson do them too, and Argos.

I don't get why magnus walker has a hot wheels 356 with his name on. He's made name for himself buying 911's. Surely somebody like rod Emory would be more apt?

No it just means they didn't have to make an entire new 5 pack packaging mould just for a variation of one of the cars.

I do however need to find these myself now!

I've never seen the volksrod with a roofrack or that exhaust, I've got a couple myself.

(These aren't mine)
