Just collected my T25 from the garage this evening, following a quick job to replace the master cylinder and sort clutch/break fluid. However, on way home the dash lights went and the temp gauge and sensor light no longer work. Any thoughts? Has the mechanic knocked something when fitting new master cylinder?
There's an electrical wafer (pcb) that will've been knocked when he was replacing the master cylinder. In my experience the wafer is now knackered. They become brittle with age, rather than him being ham-fisted.
You can't buy a replacement wafer, but can get an upgraded replacement kit.
