Default 'BACK' button not working

comes up with some pubads bollox if you hover over it

That's part of the Ad network.

Also it's not ideal to use the back button.

well im certainly not using my jedi powers, last time i waved my hand at the screen to go back my shed fell over


ive used the back button on interwebz for donkeys, never had a problem before, should i be hitting the backspace instead

It's better, IMO, if you click the 'Chat/Discussion' link at the top of each page, that why the main chat page refreshes automatically.

I'm curious, why not, same reason Clarkson gave? I 'get' his what he's saying (below), not that it will discourage me from habitually using the 'back' button on my mouse!

so I'm on page 4 of a thread, want to look at page 3, i should go back to the main forum page and fanny around going back to the thread and go to page 3 that way, not wanting to sound ungrateful but till tonight in 15 years of interwebbing the back button has served me well

For that, just click page 1 / 2 and so on.

Nonsense. The back button is there for a purpose, you can't be fannying about with kinks back to the top forum.

You don't have to go to any top forum, keep using the back button if you want, but as I and others have said, it's not the best way on a forum to do it.
