Chat/Discussion Kind of like a VW club online - you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but please no insulting (other than to our intelligence,) abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that others have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your business, links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (please use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled "What's my car worth?" threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) - and please don't use just to post links to other VW forums or websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Hope this helps mate - and nice one on your part, it's prompted me to send a few quid myself.

It looks like they're actually there on the ground, doing the work - not just a 'charity'.

I'm gonna PayPal some dosh over now.

PS: It's about two Australian dollars to the pound (thereabouts.)
Thanks Brian, I really appreciate you doing that, it makes me feel much more comfortable to know the money is headed straight to the ‘troops on the front line’ as it were. And local knowledge is everything

Well done you guys, very generous of you - more generous than me in fact.

I decided this year not to buy endless loads of crap, useless Christmas presents for my spoilt ‘children’ that are all in their late 20’s, but told them I’d be putting that money into some charities.

So, ‘Son of Slug’ just donated a custom radiator grill for a Land Rover Discovery to the Koalas and Kangers -

My girls did the Salvation Army -

Great to have a reliable way to donate - thanks Slug and Brian. I'll send some over when I next get paid.

Unfortunately this whole thing has been a windfall for scammers - so many "fake" fundraisers out there, it's hard to know who to give to.

Hell hasn't made the fire yet that is hot enough for those bastards that steal from charities.

I'm sure after the ceo of WWF takes his £135000 salary and his many minions have had their cut their will be plenty left for a Kangaroo or 2. Charity is big business and a con. Keep your money in you pocket and use it to support grass root charity on the street etc it will go far further and do much more good. JIMHO
