Default Did anyone venture to SCC, Norway?

If so I'm really interested in picking your brains, not only on what is the most effective way to get there, but also what the show itself was like?

I heard a rumour some of the JG54 guys made the journey?

thanks kindly

alex

The magazine article this month is ace, can anyone explain to me how so many top notch cars survive in Scandanavia, I'd have though with their winters that they would have even less chance of surviving than here in Blighty. Almost every car was a rock solid split or early oval!

It certainly looks like one of the foreign shows well worth making the effort of visiting.

I'd certainly love to go, but I don't think any of us went

Maybe one for next year, I've met a load of the Scandanavian guys before and they're nuts

Looks an awesome show for sure, maybe I'll see if I can sneak over next year.

I've been to the last three. You can stay at mine if you want to come over, I'm only half an hour down the road.

Part of the reason for solid early cars is that they never used to salt the roads in the winter. Also, the air is much drier in scandinavia and they have lots of barns!

The SCC was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend a visit. Hop on the plane from Heathrow and step off pretty much at the race track. Sweet

contact the guys at scc, they can normally sort out ferry deals. I flew out and stayed with the locals. It was awesome.
