1965 Bug, picking up time-lapse.
picking up the 1965 beetle, this bug has been sat in a field local to to me for the last 24 years slowly rotting away, a good history complete example minus the metal work needed.

1965 bug project, first views.
Hey guys this is my first time seeing the 65 bug to be a hopeful project that i will be taking on she has been sat for the last 24 years after being broken down and is one owners from new, all original paperwork for the car, and in need of alot of love.

Forgotten Volkswagen SO-23 Split Window Camper Bus. 1961 VW Bus.
We got a call about a possible Forgotten Volkswagen Bus located in Mission Viejo California. We started making plans to head down and check out the bus. Original plans included the girls and I making a stop at Disneyland and picking the bus up on our way home. The day before we planned to take the trip we had some things come up that made it impossible for my wife and daughters to come along on the trip. I had already committed to deliver a car to Las Vegas and had made plans with the owner of the bus to stop by that weekend so we did a 3 day trip down and back to pick up this bus. Left Saturday night at 8:00 PM and arrived in Mission Viejo Sunday at about noon. By 9:00 Sunday night I was ready for a break so we stopped in Primm...

Forgotten Volkswagen Camper Van LIVES AGAIN !!!!!!!
We pulled this 1979 Volkswagen Camper out of a shop where it had been sitting since 1997. The motor was partially installed but needed to be finished. Tires were shot and the interior was a mess. We spent the better part of 2 weeks cleaning, polishing and replacing anything that needed to be fixed. It was a team effort and couldn't have got it done without the help of my amazing wife and daughters. Airbrushing a Splitty ratlook
Airbrushing a Vw splitscreen Panelvan Ratlook. Son wanted a fast colour change on his van..so we went RAT;) aged look without the rust;)
When my lad brought his splitty the colour was yellow and blue. My son did not like it as it was, so wanted a fast colour change without the cost and time of preping and repainting.
I got to work with the other half. first put some coats of paint on then airbrushed.
Gets better when you don't wash it...after a few weeks of road dirt etc.
Would like to do a few more as enjoyed doing it.
At least it had a few more coats of paint on it until a resto can be done..preserving it for many more years...so all good.
I know not to everyones taste..but hey we like to be different from the norm;)
