We got a call about a possible Forgotten Volkswagen Bus located in Mission Viejo California. We started making plans to head down and check out the bus. Original plans included the girls and I making a stop at Disneyland and picking the bus up on our way home. The day before we planned to take the trip we had some things come up that made it impossible for my wife and daughters to come along on the trip. I had already committed to deliver a car to Las Vegas and had made plans with the owner of the bus to stop by that weekend so we did a 3 day trip down and back to pick up this bus. Left Saturday night at 8:00 PM and arrived in Mission Viejo Sunday at about noon. By 9:00 Sunday night I was ready for a break so we stopped in Primm Nevada for the night and finished the last leg of the journey home Monday. This old bus has sat since 1980 outside and was located very close to the coast. It is very rusty and in pretty rough shape but is very fixable and worth being saved and put back on the road. Hope to have some updates on it soon. Thanks for watching.
