The time is coming soon for a rebuild for my '79 bus. The engine is a 1600 twin-port "AD" code. Stock set up except for the 009 distributor which I should be changing to a 205K SVDA unit this week.
The oil consumption is the main reason for the rebuild.

What is the best dizzy to use with a 1776cc? I am going to buy a pertronix ignition kit. Can I stick with a vac advance on a 1776 or do I have to go 009?
