    Does anyone know how to align gears on a '69 Beetle. Currently I don't have to push the gear stick down to get reverse, so it's really hard to get into second without grinding the gears on reverse by accident. Thanks!

    got a 1600 tp engine in a split. got a query about clutch alignment. I know you have to centralise it, but confused about something i read in the haynes about lining marks up on flywheel. I just bought a friction plate(clutch). almost ready to put it back together but not sure about these marks.
