For sale due to change of plans i have a brand new set of cast Mahle barrells and pistons boxed etc never touched
From Heritage heres the link
I'm having a bit of a clear out and I found these at the back of the garage. There are 4 of them but on of the barrels has a crack in the liner at the bottom. All the gudgeon pins and retaining clips are there and the barrels do have MAHLE stamped on them.
I've also painted them in a high temp...
I need one 90.5mm Mahle forged piston and barrel/cylinder due to pitting on cylinder wall. I believe the barrels are the same between standard and stroker(offset pin) piston sets, so not specifically looking for the 'b' type as I would only use the barrel. Anyone got part of set where they wish...
When building a stroker based around a 76mm stroke crank do you need to use stroker B&Ps or will the standard work?
Thinking of 76x90.5 or 76x94 with standard vw rods for a mild torquey motor on a fairly tight budget.
For sale, a set of 90.5mm stroker barrels & pistons, Cima Barrels & Mahle Pistons,
has reduced pin height pistons for use with 78mm and bigger long stroke crankshafts will give 2110cc with an 82mm crank,
Based in Stoke-on-Trent so ideally collection due to the weight.....
Genuine reason for sale.
No cracks in the heads or missing fins bolt holes drilled in head to mount lower tin wear (fitted with bolts see pictures). Not sold with the spark plugs. Can supply the rockers if you need them too.
1600 040 Heads long Sparkplug version less than 500 miles £100.00...
