It originally had a 16amp fuse in it but this blew, from what I could tell it operated the rear right light when my lights are turned on yet it illuminates when the brake is applied so it isn't the bulb,

How many amps does a modern cd player head unit take through the switched live side? Mine keeps blowing the inline fuse so I'm guessing it is more than 2A?
Also, why doesn't the spare fuse on the fusebox specifically for the radio work? It has no power going to fuse 7...
