    hi all, i have a 71 bay which i'm having trouble getting 1'st & 2'nd gears. After reading some post's on here i believe the problem could be the selector plate but if it's wise to replace any other part at the same time then i will do so. Any advise welcome!!

    Right ive lost my haynes manual so im removing the beam for the first time by guess work.... how do i remove the linkage that goes through the centre of the beam? its on axle stands in the drive at the mo :lol: poor old thing dont know what its in for lol
