I think it is an IDF looking at the pictures online. But which one is it? The big holes are 38mm across. (I think this is the Venturi) It comes off a 1641 engine I have aquired. Sorry for the picture quality. Cheers Jeester

I'm looking to replace the stock carb for twins Engine is 1641, Engle 110, stock heads, heat exchangers, hideaway exhaust - no plans to go bigger but might take the grinder to the heads at some point I want a painless conversion so I don't want a pair in need of rebuild should I buy new 40 IDF...

I have just installed 40IDFS, i have no air filters on them at the moment. now i like the look of having just trumpets, but i dont no if them on their own will let to much air in. i dont want to put the socks over the top as they look silly, is there some filter which fits inside stopping crap...
