    i have just fitted new plugs and leads and set the valves clearances to the book but when i started it my bug up there was no power it ran but not very well done the valves in order of 1 4 3 2 and set the gaps right but still no joy any help please thanks jody ps could my leads be on wrong

    I need some new ignition leads because I melted one by accident. Is it worth getting posh ones? Or are stock just as good with a Pertronix ignitor?
