We have an old canvas Westfalia awning from the '70's.
The garish/lovely orange kind.
It needs some cleaning, canvas repairs, zipper repairs, and renewed water proofing.
Has anyone had experiences, good or bad, with any tent servicing firms?
I wasn't really looking for another beetle but when we saw one advertised for £250, how could we say no? It had been kept in a barn since 1999, when the guys daughter moved to Australia. And advertised in one of those local crappy advertisement papers.
Obviously needs/needed a lot of work, so...
I'm rebuilding a 1972 1302 and have got the body off and started cutting out all the old rust and rot. The bottom of my bulkhead is rotten and literally coming off in my hands but the top is solid as rock!

Hoping someone can give me some advice on my recent purchase,

Times up for my bus!
Petrol pump packed up 2 weeks ago, so it off to the scrappy unless anyone wants to repair it. GtCon on this site has a replacement pump for decent money but I can't be *rs*d fixing it. I might be persuaded to sell parts that can easily be...
Finally brought my first bus a few months ago, I'm going through the heating system as it's not working and would like some advice on the repair of the heat exchangers. Reading up on the topic I'm making the system as air tight as possible and checking for blockages etc (already...
