I'm currently in the process of prepping my early bay for paint and I'm starting to think about rust inhibitor and primer but I was told about Vactan which is both of these in one. I was also told that as long as the surface is straight then very little prep is needed. Is this true? Seems too good
Now, I have read millions of posts on loads of sites, but wanted a step by step guide if possible in how to sort out rust... and generally protect my beetle.
My first question concerns general areas of surface rust, like in pictures 1 & 2... the top of the bonet and the bottom of the engine...
