Has anyone built or is running a 1699 stroker in a bus?
That is, take your standard 1600 Type 1 engine (1584cc), but rebuilt with a 74mm crank.

As per the title a set of four brand new Mahle 94mm stroker barrels and pistons. Won an auction on eBay - but had already agreed a deal so ended up with two sets. VW Heritage/Machine 7 won't be getting these in until August due to Mahle moving factories and not stockpiling enough of these bad...
Just trying my luck to see if anyone has a set of 90.5 stroker pistons and barrels up for sale so that I can finally finish up my beetle engine build? Not fussed if they are not brand new, but would prefer light use or good condition only!

When building a stroker based around a 76mm stroke crank do you need to use stroker B&Ps or will the standard work?
Thinking of 76x90.5 or 76x94 with standard vw rods for a mild torquey motor on a fairly tight budget.

has reduced pin height pistons for use with 78mm and bigger long stroke crankshafts will give 2110cc with an 82mm crank,
