    going to order a tacho up as just got my bug and am used to having a rev counter in my old car but how do i go about fitting it, also are there 2 different types electronic and mechanical? any help muchos appreciated ;)

    good evening, I have one of these... ...and I know how to connect the tacho part, but can I use the mpg gauge for something else? I think I have to add a load of nonsense to get it to be an actual mpg gauge so I'm not going to do that, could I maybe use it for volts/amps/windspeed/calendar...
