Can anyone help? I've got a chance to buy 4 secondhand fibreglass wings for my beetle. My old metal ones need repairing. Is it better to get the metal welded, replace them with the secondhand fibreglass wings or buy new metal wings? Thanks :)

After a long time away, I've got my 69 fired up but the wings i put on 10 years ago from GSF have rusted through. Probably didn't strip the packing paint off first. Just wondered if the repro wings are all the same quality or does anyone know a source of better quality wing for a 69 1300? Cheers

Any advice on what compount to use on faded/almost milky appearance of my beetle wings...I have used T-cut "sparingly", and obviously polish..any more advice, rather than respray or re/lacquer.
