I'm quite tempted to fit 6x15" mercedes steels with AT tyres and keeping it stock height. Or lowered 50mm with mercedes Pentas in 7x15 ET23 and 8x15 ET11.

though mercedes penta/ronal r9 do look good on a lowered T3.

I can't afford either so its a moot point really.

You probably know but Mk3/4/5 Cortina window winders are chrome with a black insert and an exact fit for VW. My mate had them on his bug. I think these are the same

If you see any banger racers or the like could be worth having a look. There was a cortina in scrapyard here years ago and I got mate a couple of spares, it was hairy experience to say the least.... totally rotten car balanced on another
