They seem to be. A mate suggested it could be the smell of spilt brake fluid burning off the calipers. The smells gone anyway so its a possibility. Fluid level is still at MAX and the brakes feel good.
Bought a cheap rivnut tool off ebay along with 10 stainless M6 rivnuts so i can install the front airdam/spoiler. Seemed to do the job OK.
Skimmed the paint off the crease in the sliding door and welded a few screws on then used a claw hammer and a bit of wood to pull the worst of the dent out. The bit right at the end of the door was too stretched to get the dent completely out so its got a bit more filler in than i'd like.

Had the starter fail again this morning. Just a click from the solenoid. Battery still registering over 12.5v. Figure its the old solenoid quit. I think i've possibly got a spare somewhere in the garage. Could just be a loose 50 terminal cable though.
Found a place locally that will replace the braided copper cable. Everything else looks pretty new inside (its about 10 years since it was rebuilt) so looking at about £50 and i get it back in a couple of days.
Looking at £125-150 for a chinese built one on exchange if i replaced it so i'll keep this bosch one.
That’s still good value last time I priced a new one was over £100 and that was 9yearrs go maybe, surprised they hadn’t gone up more! I managed to get a cheap one at the time that wasn’t exchange but always meant to send mine for s rebuild.
