Have found 2 webber idf carbs, one is stamped: 48 idf 4.2c
And the other is stamped:48 idf 5.2c
Can these carbs be used as a matching pair or would it be imposible to ballence them?

Also found a set of CB044 Cylinder Heads for 94mm pistons They have a small crack from each intake valve seat to the spark plug on each cylinder.
The seller says this is ok 'since these heads are the heavy cast ones with 3/4" reach plugs'.

Thanks, Ben

If the carbs are marked 48IDF, you can use them as a pair, but you might have do do some poncing about if they're not a handed pair as things stand. Oh, and ditch the prat saying a cracked head is OK. He's having a laugh. They can be repaired, but I don't know if that would be much cheaper than new heads. Funny, I always found that when cracked, people used to try to -give- them to me...
044's come in different flavours, so find exactly which you're dealing with and price 'em up before dismissing them.
