Thought i'd post some before and after pics of my 1960 bug. Got it back from the paint shop a few weeks ago!
It's almost finished, just need to put the motor in, make up and fit the brake lines and line lock, make up and fit 8mm fuel line, finish off fitting the interor and a few other random tasks.
Big thanks to James T, Jim, Brian for all their help along the way so far!

needs to be lower at the front
I'm going for a bit of a sleeper look at the mo, plus the narrowed adjustable beem is one of the things that got crossed off the parts list in an atempt to control the costs. It's just on dropped spindals at the mo.fast-dub said:needs to be lower at the front
It's got a 1500 ratio Cog Box "built" box in it and my 2187cc motor will be residing in the back of it soon.

Clutch is a bit too good now,snapped an axle at bigbang, now have stronger axles and running out of things to break

The Tunnel Racing League of Genitalmen will hopefully become a reality after the new year!
The bug should be one the road in about a month or 2. Then all I gotta do it run it in without trashing the fan and all that goes when it goes
and mullering the bearings and I will be ready to claim a few chav scalps.
