He came over to talk to me after asking several people who owns the "old VW van".

I advised him of the current market value of Bays and mine in particular (it needs a lot of tidying up but it's tax exempt, very usable and has bloody good electrics) and he couldn't believe it, thinking it would be worth "only a few hundred".

And the reason for the sudden interest in a Bay van?
There's one in the new Bowling For Soup music video :rolleyes:

Suppose so. Trouble is, I don't think he was the type of person who would know how to maintain/look after it. Most Emos can't look after themselves! ;)

I didn't even take the Bay to work today as it's about to come off the road for a full-on resto anyway so it'll proberbly be off the road for some time.

Ah, now I see. Hmm.....

A work collegue described the aforementioned incident about an emo wanting to buy my van "Like the weediest kid at school going up to a Hell's Angel and asking if he could buy his bike" :D
