It would really help if people talked in model years.
Post August 66 is actually 67.
As I see it, and having checked my factory books,
upto and including 64 model year has small windows.
65 have larger windows, but retain early wedge shaped lock catches lever style inner handles and square button outer handles.
66 are the same. With one minor addition, the anti burst plate above the lock catch.
67 have small locking buttons on the inside,at the rear of the window, flush inner handles, and round pushbutton outer handles.Along with new bear claw latches and therefore different strikers and thus rear quarter panels.
68 have trigger handles and larger handle recesses.
Thing is some people say that the round pushbutton outer handles came into production in April 66, so late in the 66 model year, can anyone verify this?
