Help! I am fitting a new bathroom suite and all the waste pipes (sink, shower) are all joined using the PVC solvent based glue. They are rock solid and wont come apart!

How can I get them apart so I can re route them and put new pipes into the waste stack? Or is it better to cut them all off and route new pipes to a different inlet on the stack?

Pain in the bum! Why is no job easy!

there's no way at all of releasing solvent weld waste pipe.....cut it out and if you need to re-route in the future, buy push fit instead :)

but you knew that already :)

You can buy universal couplers in 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 they look like whit plastic compression fittings most diy shops should sell them.
Just cut the solvent weld waste pipe and then couple up the push fit using the universal coupler.
