passat is the name of a wind, a trade wind to be precise, so the Q "do cops trade wind?" might be a good start.

I've never known them trade wind, but I'm sure, like the rest of us, they have farting competitions, and the loser probably gets the next round of bacon sarnies in.

Blimey! You learn something new everyday! Never knew "Passat" meant that.

Did VW originally intend it to be wind-powered then? ;)

I knew "Sierra" meant "row of jagged mountains" (presumably what happens to the panels when rust sets in)

see also 'vento' and 'scirocco' :)
Scirocco noun A hot wind which blows from the Sahara Desert to southern Europe.

Can't find Vento but I'm assuming it's got something to do with "vents" or "venting" or "ventilation"
