balancing carbs

Was'nt there a how to in last months volksworld? Had a few pages on setting up with different airflow meters.

What carb setup / linkage have you got?

Basically you need an air flow meter (£15 from halfords) to make sure they open the same on both sides. Basically if one opens more than the other the engine will be fighting against the other side. It is amazing the difference it makes.

hi there! it'll be kadrons on single port manafolds, can you use a vacuume guage??

Better with one of the "snail" air flow meters.

And don't forget to undo your linkage when setting them up.
