Hi, i'v got a late bay campervan and when i turn the engine off and remove the keys the batter light stays on. It's just started doing it and i can't see a reason for it.The van starts and runs fine. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Dynamiomor alternator??
Which ever way, I would pull a battery lead off when you take the key out. If you have a dynamo and the regulator has fried internally you could burn out the dynamo.

Had this on a van, turned out to be the regulator. One of the points inside had welded itself together 
Almost certainly an alternator.
A shorted diode inside the alternator can cause this.
As noted, disconnect the battery for now.
If you can, take a pic of the alternator and its wiring.

Could be a dodgy connection on the D post? Give it a wiggle if it works clean it and replace the spade
