Hi all
Does anyone know what screw is in the beetle door(m5,m6 etc ) and 5he length as can’t justify nearly 40 euro for a set

They're M8 and about 20mm long i think. I replaced the ones on my 70 with stainless countersunk allen head bolts off ebay like these: VW BEETLE Door hinge SCREWS BOLTS 12 allen key socket head | eBay

thanks for that. Screw fix in Ireland do a pack of 50 for 17 euro so that’s better than 40!

M8 x 20 Countersunk if you are shopping around

Stainless steel M8 x 1.25 x 20mm from your local fastener shop. Or go longer and cut them down if longer is cheaper? Cos sometimes a more popular length ends up cheaper due to selling more of them. Mine were 30mm and I just cut em down.
