Hi peeps my beetle came off the road in 1988 and has moved from pillar to post ever since in and out gaurages and over the years slowly but surely return and this week took a drive around the carpark in front of my house!!!!

1641 twin 44's with electric cokes
Engle camshaft
straight cut gears
euro twin tuck away
Petronics ignition

The Black paint is actually about 10 years old and now tired but I do like it

I wanted an 80's 'racer' look.

Ta!!

Nope its a german built 1303s.
Due to huge!!!! amounts of rot and lack of panels years ago I replaced the whole front end with a new frame head and torsion beam etc etc. The flip front making it easier to match up and get the look right for the changes. easier than making wings and a bonnet specially to fit.

Thanks!!! I am so delighted with him.

I am looking forward to getting out on the road and enjoying driving him about again.
