ive seem to have aquired quite a few worn dizzys, in particular with vertical play in the shaft. I fancy having a go at stripping one or two down and rebuilding (something to do when its too wet to lay on the drive).

is it possible to get new shims and spacers (or rebuild kits) for bosch dizzys? if so where from? ive googled it to death but cant find owt.

cheers
:D

You can get a generic Bosch re-build kit from Karmann Konnection that they sell for Porsches (but will have shims that you can use) @£20

OR you can get some made up £????????

I looked into this last year and sourced some bits and pieces from a mate, but after stripping them you may find many end up being raided for spares -and be very careful on putting things in the same order/parts swapping or it won't work propperly
