hi im strugling with the brake pipe set up

its on a 68 bay

the prob is that the chap who had the van removed all the pipes and master cylinder.

the thing is the master cylinder has 3 outlets, and it looks like i only need 1.?

there is a t piece with 4 outlets to the side of the cylinder(not part of the cylinder, bolted to the chassis ),which i asumed was

1 for left front
2 for right front
3 for rear
and the forth being the pipe that joins to the master cylinder

ive looked in books and on the web but cant find a diagram for a 68 bay

hope his makes sence to someone.any info or pics would be aprecated

im still searching and can only find diagrams with the pressure regulater in,these are 71 on diagrams
Your '68 may have originally been fitted with a single-circuit
master cylinder. That has one outlet pipe and the TEE
would have been used to split it off.

The new master cylinder has 3 ports (1 port near the pushrod for
the rear circuit and 2 ports at far end for front) so the pipes
connect directly. It is a dual-circuit model.

that sounds like what ive got, thanxs bud.

looks like the wrong cylinder was sold with the van,it looks shaged anyway so will have to invest in a new en

is it worth converting to duel circuit while im at it is there any advantages??
Dual-circuit does have some safety advantage.

A brake pipe failure or wheel cylinder blowout will leave you with
the other circuit working. It's not much, but every bit helps
in a bad situation.
ye i supose so, all tho the fact a single circuit cylinder is only 22.50 might win it lol, thanxs for your help speedy jim, thought i was going mad for a mo there, cherse again bud
