I want to fit and/or replace some uPVC trims around some internal windows and am looking for a silicone type sealant/adhesive that doesn't stink.

Any advice gratefully received.

I've used this Soudal Fix All High Tack Adhesive & Sealant 290ml White (toolstation.com)
Not the cheapest, but strong and no stink

They all stink lol for an hr
And any CLEAR silicone is good for actually sticking the trims and no point spending on stupidity expensive either just get the cheap toolstation one about £1 or 2 they all do the same job ( i fitted windows and conservatories for 15 yrs and have used them all)

Agree, CT1 is awesome. A little trickier to apply compared to cheaper alternatives but the little extra effort is worth it. Superb product

CT1 is fantastic stuff but overkill for sticking internal trims up - cheapo silicone is fine. Screwfix sell OB1 which is damn near same as CT1 and a little cheaper.

I used this Evo-stik recently which I recall being low odour. I'd not use it to seal a bath, but as a combi product, very good.

Which of these drys clear?

A bit of a tangent of use, I'm going to reseal the taped seams on a waterproof running top so the less colour the better.

*I know I can get specialist stuff, but the general consensus on running forums is watered down sealant is just as good and a lot cheaper.

CT1 clear is very clear....BUT.....when left in the light over times dis colours and goes yellowy. I know this was/has been an issue with CT1 and as far as I know hasn't been sorted out. CT1 do a product called BT1 which is a similar product but suitable for sealing bathrooms etc so am assuming this product wouldn't have the same issues. I have no first hand experience of this product though.

I ended up using this to stick my trims in place, it works really well and no smell.

CT 1 and it's cousins from other suppliers is overkill on small jobs like this.

Go for cheapo silicone from Screwfix.
