Only with the later '68 bumpers so no comment on these exact ones, but the SSP stainless were a perfect fit and reassuringly heavy compared to the usual rubbish you get.

Hi all,
I’m looking to purchase some new US spec blade bumpers for my 62 bug. I really don’t want any of those ‘Brazilian Chrome’ types (the bug came with those), and really would just like to make sure I get a quality item(s).
Currently considering either the stainless steel type, like these:

Considering price delta, has anyone had any experience/got any feedback on the stainless steel type (just concerned when the ad states they may need some manipulating...)

thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll take the plunge and try out the stainless type (two for the price of one 
). Would love the WW versions, but they're approximately double the price, and I've a g'box and expensive engine to pay for at the mo. I'll report back when I've fitted them.
