I'm feeling preety shitty at the moment too mate (lack of coinage) i just think i could be dead or sleeping rough. Things will get better it just may take time.

toddled off to work this morning in my transit to deliver books to school, first drop 60 miles away in leeds. got 10 miles away and the tranny lost all power, ran but was gutless. called aa who came and said it could be anything, thanks, then took it to the garage to be told it could be the injector pump that costs £600. oh joy!
i am then left with a dilema, how do i get the books to the lovely kiddies? i know i'll take them in my bay! splendid idea i thought, that way i dont miss out on sales. load up bay and toddle off to leeds. now anyone who has see operation 1 grand bay will know i have only just got it motd and this would be the longest i have driven her. with this in mind.....
got to the first school, all good, smiling, i'm at work in a bay camper
hopped back in and it wouldnt start!!! aaaaargh. duff starter. another call to the aa an they came and hit it with a hammer, it starts, hoorah!
daily dilema no.2 is then faced, do i continue with my drops ad risk it not starting again, or do i call it a day and just go home? i went home.
so got home about 3pm after dropping 1 load of books out of 16, and a round trip of 130 miles. with a possible bill for £700+ and i lost out on £300 sales.
all this is compounded by the fact i havent earned any cash since july and i am potless! the last thing i need is lost sales and a big bill!
i think i need another job!

Borrow a starter motor off some kind fellow veedubber (I'm guessing that they're not that hard to fit ?) tootle off in the van tomorrow and have a better day, in the meantime feet up and chill mister :hug:

i up to this week was working in watford, they sent two of us so we share the hotel bill, we get £28 a day and the cheapest habitable room was £62 a day, the other lad left so i asked personell if they would send someone else down, they said no, i asked if i could be moved onto a job nearer home, ie travaleble, they said no we have 35 people to place next week , the foreman on the job in watford got 4 subbies to come in and send me back to my branch, i get a call today saying im on a leeds branch job, ooh goody i think, but its 175 miles south of sheffield and there may be someone going with me, may be, i said im having a bathroom fitted next week so could i have the week off, she said no, i either go, or i terminate my own employment, in the words of the chuckle brothers, oh dear oh dear :crazy:
