Does any one know how much fluid is required in a 1970 Bay.
Thinking of changing my fluid but not sure how much i need to buy.

Also i have read a few threads and i'm a little confused, i always thought you started at the back and work forwards (towards the reservoir) but a few threads suggest starting at the front and working away from the brake reservoir due to if there is no pressure at the front brakes then you will not bleed the back.

Buy a litre. You shouldn't need it all but you never know, you may have a problem with them. If your master cylinder is old, then try to bleed them with a pressure or a vacuum bleeder so you don't disturb the master cylinder internals.
Start from the rear and see how it goes, you can always bleed individual wheels in any order if you need to.
