Knew about the car but only watched the video last night. £70k is a bit steep but it's a nice option to have if you have the money! Still £14k for the shell itself seems a good price.

I wonder if anyone will ever do it for bugs? I know people have offered shells whilst Mexican production was still a thing (along with the full fibreglass bodies from Wizard) but it'd be a nice option for those of us that can't weld!

You´d think there´d be a market for split sunroof Beetle shells.
Surprised it hasn´t happened yet, though they´d probably be out of reach of most broke-ass Beetle owners! :lol:
I wonder what a good price point would be for something like that? It can´t really be more than the price of a restored original.

Not bad value at around £21k I don't think. Perhaps when bug prices reach the heady heights of Sambas we may get something!
